“The best executive is the one who has sense enough to pick good men(and Women) to do what he wants done, and the self restraint to keep from meddling with them while they do it”
Theodore Roosevelt
26th President of the US

“Kanandaque”, the chosen spot”, according to Seneca legend, was the place where the Earth opened up and the founding fathers of the Seneca nation emerged from the gorge below. It is a story about emergence from a hill, and about the home and the beginning place of the Seneca people. Some folks might remember it as the site of the 2007 NEPR. It is called Hi Tor and it will be the site again for the 2010 NEPR.
My name is Neil Ross, and I'd like to be the first to welcome you to next year's NEPR. We have a fine set of events planned with the help of many volunteers. We will challenge you on the woods walk. Barb Koenig as Archery Captain her Lieutenant will be Badger from the great white north. The Alabama Hunt club will do an outstanding job, as always, on the rifle range. Brady Miller and Wizza will be running the hawk and knife events. Charlie Fuller will host the Highland Games. Thank you to Keuka Lake Renegades, Moses Van Campen Club, Little Beard members.
Sutlers and participants of the French and Indian War Encampment at Old Fort Niagara are welcomed after that event. We will assist you any way we can. Sutlers' row will be open every day to the public.
Not only is this a great historic site but we are nestled into the Finger Lakes Region with a beach for swimming 5-10 minutes from the site on beautiful Canandaigua Lake. Wineries, antique shops, historical sites and restaurants are yours to enjoy.
Remember children are the future of our sport, look around we aren't getting any younger and we need to get them involved.
This event would not take place without You and my staff . This is your event, the Booshway is just a figurehead – the staff and participants are what make it happen.
We'll see you and yours next summer,
Neil Ross
